Hi, I'm Kinder & Kids' safety polar bear — and I make sure your child is always safe!
At Kinder and Kids, safety is not just a requirement — it's a core value. Our friendly polar bear Bjørn guides you through the four steps we take to ensure every toy is safe for your child.

Every Kinder and Kids toy goes through four thorough steps before it reaches your child.

While producing our wooden toys, we constantly test for quality and safety. Every toy is made with care and FSC-certified sustainable wood. Physical stress tests ensure toys can withstand everyday play.

✨ Hi there!
We interact with children and parents to get feedback on their play experiences. Your input helps us continuously improve our products and ensure they bring joy and safety to every child.
Our safety journey doesn't end in the lab. Bjørn is there when children and parents try the toys in real life. Their experiences and feedback shape our next generation of toys.

Compression testKinder and Kids toys are approved for sale in the EU, UK, and USA — three of the world's most stringent toy markets.
EU Market
EN 71 is the European toy safety standard covering mechanical and physical properties, flammability, and chemical properties. All Kinder and Kids products comply with EN 71 and carry the CE mark as proof.
UK Market
UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) is the UK equivalent of the CE mark, applicable to products sold in England, Wales, and Scotland after Brexit. Our toys meet all requirements of the UK Toy Safety Regulations 2011.
US Market
ASTM F963 is the US toy safety standard administered by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The standard covers mechanical hazards, chemical requirements, and electrical safety for toys intended for children under 14.
European Single Market
The CE mark is a mandatory conformity declaration for products sold within the European Single Market. It confirms the product meets all applicable EU directives, including the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC.
Beyond formal certifications, we exclusively use non-toxic, child-safe paints and finishes. All colours and lacquers are tested for heavy metals, phthalates, and other harmful substances. We always put the child's safety above everything else.

When you buy a Kinder and Kids toy, you don't just get a toy. You get Bjørn's personal guarantee that the toy is safe, sustainable, and made with love for children.
Every Kinder and Kids toy is designed with safety, sustainability, and joy in mind. We're committed to providing toys that parents can trust and children will love.
