Bjørn's safety journey

Every Kinder and Kids toy goes through four thorough steps before it reaches your child.

First, we assess
01

First, we assess

We screen scientific research and legislation for updates, and approve only the safest raw materials for our new wooden toys. Every material is screened for potential hazards before it ever comes near a child.

  • Complete ingredient list for every raw material
  • Official hazard classification databases consulted
  • Only approved, non-toxic materials used
Then, we test

Then, we test

We test new wooden elements and products through chemical, physical, and safety assessments to ensure they comply with and exceed global toy safety standards. Tests are performed by accredited third-party laboratories.

  • Colour migration tests (sweat & saliva simulation)
  • Substance migration analysis
  • Third-party approval from accredited laboratories

Next, we make

While producing our wooden toys, we constantly test for quality and safety. Every toy is made with care and FSC-certified sustainable wood. Physical stress tests ensure toys can withstand everyday play.

  • Bite test: 22.5 kg force simulates a child's bite
  • Drop test: 1.5 m drop × 5 times
  • Compression test: 15 kg pressure on toy elements
Finally, we listen
04

✨ Hi there!

Finally, we listen

We interact with children and parents to get feedback on their play experiences. Your input helps us continuously improve our products and ensure they bring joy and safety to every child.

  • Ongoing feedback from parents and caregivers
  • Product improvements based on real-world experiences
  • Open dialogue about safety and quality

Safety starts with play

Our safety journey doesn't end in the lab. Bjørn is there when children and parents try the toys in real life. Their experiences and feedback shape our next generation of toys.

  • Children test toys in real-world play situations
  • Parents provide feedback on durability and safety
  • Bjørn ensures every toy brings pure joy
